This portable hob is perfect for smaller kitchens or wherever you need an extra cooking zone. Also, ideal if you are looking to move away from gas and want to trial induction cooking before making the change.

Induction hobs are extremely energy efficient, fast and precise as induction technology transfers energy directly into magnetic cookware. Induction hobs require cookware with a magnetic base. If you are uncertain about whether your cookware is safe to use on an induction hob, check with a magnet to see if the base is made of a magnetic material, which is a must.  We have a selection of induction cookware in the Kitchen Library available to borrow.

• The touch/press control panel allows you to regulate the heat easily and precisely by just touching the + and – symbols.
• Always put the hob on a flat, stable surface when using it
• Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the surface
• Clean spills on the cooking surface as soon as possible
